Role description:


· Linux embedded developer to maintain test automation systems.


· R&D phase of Dali - Setting up and maintaining test automation system.


· Working from customer site in San Diego.


· Linux tools competence is required.


· Run manual test cases in Cellular area utilizing a manual test case asset of a few hundred cases including, for example, emergency call cases.
The intention is to run these cases once in 2-3 weeks. One round is ~4 staff
days.


· All tests are run from Dali command line (rather from the UI), therefore, Linux competence is needed.


· Reproduce errors & take traces.


· Expect many vendor related errors. Typically use cellmo and Linux traces to track down the problems. One part of the assignment is to reproduce
the errors and take required traces. In some cases error reproduction cannot be
done at the office environment, thus some field testing is required in this
context.


· Previous knowledge on Nokia tracing tools is necessary (fastrace, musti etc)


· Verify error corrections.


· To be able to close vendor related errors, we need to be able to verify the error corrections.


· Exploratory testing.


· In the remaining time, the contractor will to do exploratory testing to find vendor specific errors. Here previous knowledge on vendor
specific testing would be a great advantage.


· In summary, looking for a person that has previous experience in Nokia Systems testing and tracing, working with vendors and with Linux
competence.
