POSITION SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be a leader in the development, review and continuous improvement of Service Design processes like Capacity & IT Service Continuity Management for the BlackBerry Operations department globally. As a member of the Service Design Process Performance team the process specialist will work closely with both internal and external process and service delivery professional to provide industry best practices and expertise for end to end process development, measurement and improvement. Some of the responsibilities for this role will include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accountable for the process development and management of the following processes and initiatives
  • Capacity Management
  • Service Catalog
  • Service Continuity Management
  • Regulatory Standards & Policies
  • Process Capability & Maturity Measurement/Reporting
• Working with internal and external process teams to identify and develop process integration and hand-off triggers
• Defining Key Performance Metrics, auditing for performance and providing recommendations for improvement
• Review and implement governance initiatives for ISO and SOX
• Develop and deliver training to stakeholder and service teams

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Post secondary education in computing, business or related discipline
• 5+ years experience in IT or related field
• Exceptional practical understanding of ITIL and other process methodologies
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams in process development workshops
• Experience developing end-to-end process models
• Project Management experience

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• ITIL v3 Expert Certification
